MP Duminda Silva who is accused of assassinating presidential advisor Baratha Lakshman Premachandra in 2011 returned to the country today (March 5) morning.
Silva, who sustained brain damage during the incident, initially underwent medical treatment in Singapore but left the hospital last year. However it is said that his condition has not improved significantly.
Responding to his return, Hirunika Premachandra, daughter of Baratha Lakshman, has asked police to arrest him immediately.
